27th March 2020.
Dear Valued Customer,
J&C JOEL IS STILL OPEN, and we continue to take and fulfil orders.
Since our last update and following Boris Johnson’s announcement of Monday, we have put further measures in place to safeguard our employees and our business.
A number of our employees are now either working from home or have been asked to furlough for a period, which means they cannot work for J&C Joel at this time. If any employee is on leave during this time, out of office messages will specifying an alternative contact within the business who will be able to help.
We are still fully operational, albeit on a reduced scale. We are manufacturing fabric and drapes, which we are able to despatch to our customers, both in the UK and in our overseas locations.
Our Project teams in the UK and around the world are still delivering on our design, fabrication, and installation commitments.
Our Sales personnel are available to advise our customers on our products and services and supply quotations and to take orders.
Accounts are still able to receive and process payments.
Strict measures are in place, including homeworking where available, social distancing, thermal testing and stringent hygiene practices. The number of employees on shifts have also been reduced to minimise contact between people in the building at any one time.
Our hours of operation will continue to be 09:15 to 15:30 in the UK, during this period.
I would like to thank our customers for their ongoing support and send our very best regards to you, your families and your colleagues at this unprecedented time.
